The transition to a more sustainable society is one of the most important issues facing Canadians today. While information products on sustainable community planning have been directed toward housing-related professionals and builders, information targeted to consumers has been limited. This report presents key considerations for the development, marketing and distribution of consumer-oriented information materials focussing on those community planning elements over which consumers have direct influence.
