Investigation of the Performance of Residential Electronic Filters in Actual Use

The main objective of this research project was to determine whether occupants of a household could use simple diagnostics to check the proper operation of their electronic filter. It also sought to make recommendations regarding the number of times per year the various components of an electronic filter need to be cleaned. The high failure rate of the filters during testing made it impossible to achieve these objectives.
