Extended Characterization of Individuals Experiencing Occasional and Persistent Core Housing Need (2002-2004)
This examination of changes over time in urban housing conditions shows a significant dynamic in individuals experiencing core housing need during 2002-2004. It provides an extended characterization for individuals who were never (none of the years) in core housing need and those who ever (at least one year) experienced it, and, among other findings, shows that those who ever experienced core housing need faced a much larger affordability burden than those who never experienced it.
