Positive Pressure Ventilation for High-Rise Buildings

A description of how portable positive pressure ventilation (PPV) devices are used by fire departments to prevent the proliferation of smoke during fire emergencies and to clear smoke once a fire has been extinguished. The project also explores the extent to which PPV is effective in controlling smoke in high-rise residential buildings.
